PASBA Softener Salt Drive & Delivery

The Pipestone Area Softball Baseball Association (PASBA) is once again sponsoring a softener salt drive. You can get your softener salt delivered to your basement personally by a PAS baseball or softball player. Delivery dates are Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th, 2008. The cost of Sun Soft Solar Extra Coarse Salt is $12 for 3 bags; for Solar Salt Pellets, it's $13 for 3 bags. Prices includce sales tax and delivery. Mead named to MSHSL All-Tournament team
|
Pipestone Area senior infielder Doug Mead was named to the Minnesota State High School League-Wells Fargo All-Class AA Tournament team at the Class AA state tournament last weekend in St. Cloud. Doug Mead helped the Arrows to a Southwest Conference title and their fourth straight state tournament appearance, finishing sixth in the tournament. Arrows will meet Annandale at state tourney
|
Pipestone Area will meet the Annandale Cardinals in the first round of the Class AA State Tournament in St. Cloud on Thursday. The Arrows and Cardinals will square off at 12:30 PM at Joe Faber Field in PA's fouth straight tournament appearance. Win or lose, the Arrows will play at 5:30 as well on Thursday. Arrows 4-peat Section 3AA 'ship, back to state
|
Pipestone Area repeated their Section 3AA championship for the fourth straight year, as the Arrows are headed back to the state tournament in St. Cloud. More information will be available soon.

Arrows to play for Section 3AA championship
|
Doug Mead tossed the entire game as Pipestone Area thwarted the Marshall Tigers, 3-1, on Saturday at Legion Field in Marshall in the Section 3AA winner's bracket championship. No other information was available. Pipestone Area will now play the loser bracket champion (team to be decided) on Thursday, May 5th at 5:00 PM at Legion Field in Marshall. If the Arrows fall in the first game, a second championship game will be played immediately following. Should the Arrows win at least once, they will advance to the state tournament for the fourth straight year. This is the fifth consecutive Section 3AA championship the Arrows have played in.
